Authors Notes:
- in the end I created a backup blog for myself, so this official blog of mine won't be completely taken over by my american dreams. Don't bother following the backup blog, if/when I use it, it will all go through this blog anyway (I'm planning to use it with my upcoming travels as well). Nonetheless, you're more than welcome to leave comments to the backup blog as well ;-)
- Since the backup blog is brand new, please let me know if something there isn't working right so I can fix it!
- Photos are mostly taken by yours truly or Caroline (thank you so much for borrowing your memory card!)
- I hope you enjoy reading my ramblings as much as I enjoyed writing them - in the end this whole USA Blog operation took around 16 hours of my not-so-precious time... and right now I'm too tired to read it all through - forgive me all the spelling mistakes and other weird stuff - I'll fix it all later!
- Everything written in italics is uncencored and straight from my travel journal.

YES, it was the best trip I've had so far, and my heart is still aching to get back to America. Oh, one more cliché - I feel I'm not the same I was before I went to America for the first time! I... I really loved it. USA is amazing, and I cannot wait to get back.
yours truly-

@Sanni

Sanna, I love you.
I am so glad that I'm not alone in this and that I'm a "let down" to the female half of our race.
My parents didn't get married until they were nearly thirty so why should I have to end up being married at twenty?? Eugh.
I'm the same. All my friends have settled down with partners, some of kids and some are engaged whereas the others are just happy living together, and I enjoy knowing that I don't have to organise something because my partner might be doing something or this that and the other.
I'm sure that when I'm 30 odd, I'll want to have a family but for me, the twenty's are the years where we're finally free from education and we should be doing things we want to do.
Your long comment made me extremely happy!

Well I've left Supernatural unwatched for this very reason. It's a six hour train journey so I thought my boys would be able to keep me company! I'll probably end up with season 7 for Christmas! Most of my friends stopped watching after 5 so I'm glad I'll have you to flail with when I'm caught up.
THANKFULLY, I have mountains of books at home but the ones I have here are the ones I've just bought etc but haven't had time to read due to studies and waiting until November just seems so mean :( Ha!
Hope you're having a great week xx
